I dunno... Jin did say that he's never seen an another human in Hyperspace. Enter's real body is likely somewhere that Messiah can't find/touch. Or, since that's just his Avatar, he could look completely different in Hyperspace, to fool Messiah.

I'm just guessing at this point, because I kind of like that plot point.

Was surprised they went the avatar route though; they could have just said that they don't age in subspace given it's digital and all.

My first assumption was that he and the other scientists were digitized as bits of data, when I saw Enter fiddling with his control pad there. And because they were data, he didn't exactly age because he wasn't on the same plane of existence.
