On which subject, I started watching G Gundam last night since DaiRiderRX has been demanding for months I watch it I LOVE it, its the perfect blend of awesome and utterly ridiculous I strive for in anime.

My Build Fighters inspired construction spree has begun: Going in I knew that the Victory and F91 were going to be on the small side, but their stature still surprised me upon completion. They were fun and relatively simple kits that can be constructed in an afternoon (or evening in my case). Fueled by nostalgia, I purchased the Dragon Momoko Geminass kit on a whim. Being a third party (not quite a bootleg) release, the quality of the plastic didn't feel quite like a Bandai kit. It was tactilely more akin to the entire kit being constructed of ABS, kind of glossy. The parts fit well enough together and the details were crisp and clear with excellent color separation. My only true gripe with the kit is it's height, it stands a bit taller than other MS designs at around its sated height.

Hot damn this week was a great episode. Takeshi Iori, the secret Gunpla Referee/policeman/badass/vagrant And that fight with Beginning Gundam and Command Gundam. Epically good stuff. This is the kind of episode I really love with a good focus on the current battle. My only complaint with the series is that I wish they would linger on the tourney battles a bit more than they haVe so far. Next week is looking good too!
