Nope. All it's missing is the sound affects and a little furry creature somewhere and it would be exactly the same as ROTJ.

Do I need to dredge up my "people like stuff that is good" arguement again? If Gaim fans glaze over little issues, it's only because the show itself is so good it makes it easy. Small imperfections in an otherwise flawless painting are easily ignored for the big picture. However, should Gaim (and I don't even know why we're considering this and living with worry when we could be watching an awesome show) take a nose-dive into the brown and stinky river, that doesn't mean fans will simply ignore that. People like what is good, so if it's not total perfection, it doesn't matter. It's still good. But if it's bad, well, they won't. The ability to overlook minor and inconsequencial flaws doesn't make us blind to ALL problems as you constantly insist. Not everybody analyses these shows with surgical tools in their hands, they just watch them for fun. That may not be how you do it, but they do. And you're perfectly entitled to do it your way, just as they are theirs. I know you probably don't mean to, but you make it sound like it's wrong for people to like Gaim as much as they do, because tehy're willing to appreciate it overall rather than make note of every single glaring flaw, distracting them from what they like. |

Oh yeah I agree completely. Gaim's problems have been fairly small, and haven't hampered the overall enjoyment. I also didn't bring up the issue of the show going south, either, so I dunno where the defensive stuff is coming from - especially in the very thread where I gave the episode nothing but praise. I'm just saying if you're willing to glaze over issues now I can't see why the same can't be said if the ship starts to sink. Some people just want to have fun, some people let shows wash over them and let the internet form their opinion for them and some enjoy being critical. If they ship has ACTUALLY sank though, then maybe then, certain people should face the facts. But if this does 'do a Fourze', we've got a lot of good stuff left yet.

Great episode, although I'm still kinda torn on Jinba Lemon. On Gaim I absolutely love it, but I'm mixed on how the armour doesn't really look like a fruit at all. On the one hand I can see how limiting themselves to just fruit looking armour could be difficult (especially when you start mixing fruits like this arms does) but at the same time "Orange + Lemon = Lantern thing" is a bit weird to me. Its a minor complaint though and I'm sure something that will grow on me.

All that was missing from the forest chase after the Kurokages crash were a few Wilhelm screams.

What a cocktease! I really hope we see what Micchy saw sooner than later, it's got to be heavy to make him switch sides like that. The worldbuilding with checking in on how the teams are using Invess now was pretty cool.

Finally got a chance to watch the episode and had a couple thoughts. 1. If 'Jinba Lemon' is translated correctly as 'Lemon Rainment' then that makes sense that Gaim could have a form for each of the 4 Energy Riders. Melon Rainment, Cherry Rainment, etc. 2. I wonder if it will ever be explained how exactly the Lock Seeds can summon Invess. I mean, if each Invess in Helheim was an animal or human, how did they get 'linked' to a lock that's able to pull them through? |
