Agreed. I really wish they were their own separate beings instead of being the manifestation of Vancuria. It would give the villains more people to have around in Hell outside of the soldiers (and future monsters going by Mystic Force), plus give them comic relief characters. Well they're that now but this way they'd be their own persons and not split personalities.

They're different from Vancuria, anyway. Not to worry, there's more than enough Night and Mare to go around throughout the series.
