So can anyone tell if that's a new version of Shadow Moon taking a boot to the chest?

I wish effects sets weren't so expensive. Like they are really cool, and would make your shelves so dynamic, but when they go for the same prices as the Figuarts, I think your shelf would look more dynamic with MORE FIGURES than a bit of plastic debris.

Wizard Water Style/Water Dragon and Sailor Mercury would be awesome engulfed in the water effect for a joint attack.

If you had a few figures and good effects, you'd have a better, more focused display. As an aside, I really don't like having a bunch of figures on the same plane, like in most of Dr. Kain's pix. Even Tamashii stages don't create enough elevation change. I like to use risers of various sizes to get multiple levels. Effects parts would only enhance such a display. I think thats why so many Tamashii displays look incredible. Open space, less clutter, effects parts, figures doing stuff at different levels although yeah sure anything's better cheaper |

I guess if you've got the money to do that, but I'd rather have lots of figures than a few figures and some props, as my money is sparce.

I never see much point in buying effects personally. I buy stages and 3 tier shelves/risers etc. But effect parts don't serve much purpose for me unless I'm shooting a gallery. Even when effects are included with a figure I just rarely use them.

Guess my interest in the effects parts is a holdover from my incredibly short-lived customizing days. Ah well.
Definitely getting some if the price is right, though.

I love the effect sets, I just don't know if they are going to be worth buying them for me.
Anyway, okay, once again we have ANOTHER reveal stuff and NO FREAKING SENTAI STUFF!!! I am tired of them giving nothing but Kamen Rider focus. If they want the Sentai Figuarts to sell better, they need to start promoting them better!! |
