I just finished Zyuranger, my first Sentai series, and it was fantastic. It's the only Sentai I've seen, besides the first 9 of Gokaiger. (Which I was very fond of, but after seeing all of the cameos, especially Dekaranger, I started thinking about putting it on hold until I know more about the older shows.)

At first, I wanted to go chronologically, but after watching a little bit of Gorenger, I don't think I could do 80 episodes of it straight. (It wasn't bad, just dated to the point where I'm going to need breaks where I can watch newer shows.)

I'm thinking about watching Abaranger and Kyoryuger to prepare for Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters. (In fact, I paused Abaranger 1 to write this.) I want to watch all the series eventually. Anyone care to recommend a watch order? Even just pointing out which seasons are best/worst would be helpful. No spoilers, please!

I recommend fair anger a kakuranger due to the fact if you watch season MMPR Season 2 & 3 are based slightly off

Just watch whatever season interests you. Personally though I recommend Hurricanger, Megaranger, and Dairanger.

Well, how about trying Mirai Sentai Timeranger and working your way up like I did, well not necessarily. I actually finished Gokaiger as my first Super Sentai and learned a little from it about the gigantic history of the wonderful Super Sentai, so I started branching off and watching other Sentai's that interested me the most, like GoGoV, Gaoranger, Hurricanger, and Timeranger and work your way up to Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. But, it will take sometime that I think it would help you alot since Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger can lead you to having a large chunk of knowledge of Super Sentai. I hope this helps you out, dude. Just my opinion on what you should do, though.

I actually stopped watching MMPR just before Tommy gained the White Ranger powers. Sadly, I grew up in a religious home, and there was a big stink at church about how Power Rangers were "satanic" or something else equally ridiculous.

Still, I'm sure I would appreciate those, since they're from the same era as Zyuranger and MMPR. The Dairanger preview after the Zyuranger finale seemed rather appealing, probably for exactly that reason.

Ah, that was actually another question I meant to ask, but forgot! "Is there an in-between series I can start from and work my way up?"

I'll look into starting with Timeranger. I've also considered just continuing on with Dairanger straight through to the end. Are there any must-watch seasons before Zyuranger that I should double back for instead of saving for after Kyoryuger?

Dekaranger, Gekiranger, Goseiger, Megaranger, and Magiranger. Those are some most-watch series, because you might not recognize some of the characters on some of the episodes and I would really help you like it did for me. I remember when I didn't know who Jan was from Gekiranger and why did he speak like a little kid? Or who are these special police officer? Yeah, those were my beginner years of Super Sentai.

I'd say probably Goranger just for the sake of watching the first Sentai and Jetman because, Jetman.

It has some of the most polished action, and strongest character focus out of all of the sentai I've ever seen. It also has a range of different villain factions to avoid that 'sentai slump', even if the first set of villains are the best and some of the quickest to go
