We're expecting Kagura just to trip and then keep running instead of falling, just because it would be hilarious for her to be the only one not to fall :P

So episode three FINALLY got subbed...and it really wasn't worth the wait.

After Kyoryuger and its epic battles and gorgeous special effects, it's kinda disappointing how bad this show looks at times. The Shadow's are really well designed, and conceptually a lot of the imagery is really impressive but a lot of the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Like the train boner, why?! I guess after the money making machine of Kyoryuger they don't need to put in nearly as much effort into this. I actually really liked Right at first but he really annoyed me in this episode. I find it funny that people compare someone so frustratingly naive as Right to the ultimate hero that Alata was. Meanwhile, shallowly I wholly accept, I really couldn't appreciate Kagura and that old man face but she turned out to be a really fun character this episode, and a bit of a badass on the quiet. Still, I'm not gonna make any decisions yet, given that Kyoryuger had pretty decent character focus, and a pretty strong team dynamic for the first ten or so episodes, that was then funked up by Utchy's arrival and never properly realised ever again.

Kagura is bad-ass. Yes, she could kill herself with her imagination, but she is bad-ass. And I love her and this episode. The villian was especially good this week. beautiful design and his coffin song is catchy!

But yea. Then ToQ-Oh broke out of his coffin with his.. um... that. No, Toei, that wasn't suggestive at all WtfOne thing I did think about this episode was they missed a trick with ToQ-Oh. You know how each ToQer can change their colors and weapons by switching lines? I know it's take some engineering but I think they could've done the same with the Ressha's for ToQ-Oh. Maybe not the whole train. But something like Oh-Oh (Zeo Megazord, I don't know the original name and Oh-Oh makes me laugh). Like how the forearms detach to replace them with Other Ressha's? Maybe Raito's could to and then Pink, Blue, or anyone else could attach and become a new head/chest. With a new weapon or something. |

I... I think Kagura has become my favorite ToQGer.

I was all set to hate the character when I first saw pictures of the team and started making assumptions about the character, but after this week I really like her. She's not that childish, she's just kind of timid until she imagines herself becoming stronger. And since the team is powered by imagination I think that makes her potentially the strongest of them all. I kinda like that; she's like the Incredible Hulk but powered by imagination instead of anger, even to the point of potentially losing control. Such a cool character concept. The episode itself was really good, again. I liked the MotW a lot and I'm continuing to enjoy all of the characters, the action, and the Megazord train penis. I cannot believe I just wrote those last three words. Clearly one of the ToQGers has a very naughty imagination. ![]() Oh Robo. |

This is the first episode I've really enjoyed. Not because Pink (her imagine power up thing she has to do every single fight is already getting old), but because the villains are just so cool. There's the two main villains that remind me of Gomez and Morticia. The general that is totally the Grey of this series. The baby is weird, but I feel she's change into the big bad at some point. Then there's the monster of the day. Chains, coffins, and a song about killing. You know, for kids! Less Rainbow Line, more Shadow Line please.
