Try Mandarake or look for someone on the boards selling theirs. Although you'll still be paying quite a lot, due to his popularity.

Definitely don't pay the crazy prices though, he'll be re-released sooner or later.

There's a couple on Mandarake right now. I bought one about a week ago as well for like 3000 yen (can't remember exactly)
