Another obscure toku entry. Gransazer aired in 2003-2004. Its production value appears lower than other shows but still a pretty decent effort.

Ah yes, the toku series that succeeded in putting me to sleep.

Chouseishin Gransazer suffered from too many characters fighting for the spotlight, followed by shoddy fight choreography and editing. And yeah, the special effects looks cheap. Just to give you an idea, Gransazer aired at around the same time as Kamen Rider 555 and Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.

The Chouseishin Series was Toho/Konami's attempt at competing with the Super Sentai Series. Needless to say, it failed, as it ended with its third title, Sazer-X.
