I honestly can't figure that out (the Digimon wiki isn't very good if you ask me...). His pre-evolutions apparently had some sort of presence in the Adventures PSP game? He couldn't have shown up there though if we only just recently learned of him.

For people interested in the new Digimon All-Stars Rumble game coming out...

Guilmon has been confirmed, which makes me as content as I can possibly be with a 12 character roster as he's who I'll be playing as and wanted in the game the most.

We've also got the box-art that confirms Omegamon will be in the game somehow too.

Still can't believe that a game coming out in 2014 only has 12 characters though! That's 8 less then Rumble Arena 2, which was released ten years ago! So far we have:

1. Agumon -> Wargreymon
2. Gabumon-> Metal Garurumon
3. Piyomon-> Phoenixmon
4. Tentomon-> HeraculKabuterimon
5. Gomamon-> Pleisiomon (WTF? Why not Vikemon, his official evolution?)
6. Tailmon-> ??? (Guessing Magnadramon, even though it was officially changed to Orphanimon, considering the Pleisiomon weirdness)
7. Veemon-> ??? (Probably Imperialdramon)
8. Guilmon-> ??? (almost 100% going to be Dukemon)
9. Shoutmon-> Omega Shoutmon
10. Dorulumon-> Shoutmon X4

That leaves only two slots. Considering 6/8 of the Digimon Adventure cast are here, I'm betting Patamon and Palmon are the last two and that Frontier and Savers are snubbed off. If only there could've been 18 slots and we'd be able to get at least 2 Adventure 2.0, 2 Tamers, 2 Frontier and 2 Savers reps too...

Seems I'm the only one who cares about this game! But oh well!

The last two characters are confirmed to be Impmon and Wormmon. Very happy for both Guilmon and Impmon to be in, but it is strange to have 6/8 Season 1s and no Season 4s or 5s.

Breaking the Ultimate trend, Tailmon turns into Angewomon and Veemon turns into X-Veemon. Also confirmed that some Digimon have more evolutions so expect Omegamon, Imperialdramon and Dukemon Crimson Mode.

I haven't played a Digimon game since Digimon World 4. I rented DW4 at Blockbuster back in 2005 and I return back like a day later. It was boring and dull compare to the first three games. The second game is one of my favorite RPG's on the PS1.

The lack of Frontier characters isn't that surprising, but Savers is.

I'm glad Impmon got in, but I'm not that happy that only 2 Tamers characters got in...
