Hi, new guy here. I was thinking about doing a black repaint of the SH Monsterarts Kiryu MFS-Type 3 figure (for both display and a little play), but since I've never done a custom figure before I figured I'd ask for some advice on what I should use (mostly paint, but also if there are any tools I need besides paint brushes and tweezers). Does anyone know anyone that has worked on these figures or have done similar ones themselves? Any help would be appreciated.

You might need a screwdriver or two and depending on the material you will paint maybe some differant types of black paint, like acrylic, enamel and the like. I would also suggest a some paint thinners depending on what type you choose. I know that there was a gundam thread around here somwhere, so you could check that out for more tips from the other guys. Oh, And Good luck! |
