I'm not sure how unpopular this is, but since we're on the subject of Kiva...

Wataru is the worst main Kamen Rider ever. People get all up in Ryotaro's grill for being whiny, but he manned up way more than Wataru ever did, willingly going into fights he knew he was outclassed in. Every time Wataru faced a major issue he'd go and be emo in the bathtub. At least until things went really bad. Then he just got so emo he decided to go back in time and abort himself. He was whiny, he was weak, and he was easily the worst character to ever headline a Kamen Rider series.

I'm saying that trying to argue against Tsuburaya's cultural relevance is like arguing against fire being hot. The man pioneered special effects techniques that would inspire generations upon generations of writers, artists, and filmmakers. He had a direct hand in designing a giant monster that wound up being as iconic as Superman. He made tokusatsu (Japanese tokusatsu at the very least) what it is today. It's because of his work, not Toei's, that the use of guys in suits is a respected tradition to this day. Ninja Turtles ain't got shit to do with it.

Also, I would never use Krang to argue anything because Krang sucks.

I personally enjoyed operation overdrive. Generally found most charecters to be likable, even the villains.
