The pachinko game happened right after the end of the second series, with Zero winning the tournament (see the latest movie for the confirmation). Last time it was Yaiba who won the game.

Although Yaiba might be a bit odd to me, the Ranma-style nod is also amusing, and at least the pachinko game remains true to the universe rather than doing whatever the hell it wants with Keita Amemiya's story. I can definitely respect the thought put into this game.

It's happened before, so maybe the footage for the game will end up getting a recap DVD release.

In this image who are the first & last Knights on the bottom row?

I could figure out all the others.

Zero on the left, and Bado on the right.

The white knight is Ohga (鷹皇騎士王牙), not Gaoh (maybe he is the Gaoh of the last tournment, who knows)
Gaoh (牙王, or 牙の王) is the title for the winner of the tournment, which is Zero.
