This was a very fun and awesome episode. I love how Shinnosuke goes back to his laid back mode after every episode and love when he starts his engine. Dream Vegas was fun I wonder what happens when he hits it big? The idea of Proto-Drive is very interesting my current theory is that he is Chase or Mr. Belt. The Paint Roimude is interesting especially that he had an apprentice too. I love learning more about Kiriko's back story too and definitely see why she wants more out of Shinnosuke because of Proto-Drive. I love the Spin Mixer and Massive Monster shift cars too they were awesome. Mashin Chaser was totally badass, I can't wait to see more of him.

Good episode. Chase had a pretty cool debut, though he didn't do too much and Mr. Belt recognizes him, so he's definitely gonna have something to do with Proto-Drive.

It seems the Romulans take care of members of their species that cause trouble for their greater plans...but they don't' kill them, they merely return them to number form. Nice of them to give them another chance, I suppose.
Maybe Chaser is one of them that copied something form Proto-Drive and thus was granted the ability to henshin into a Rider like form?

Also, reeeeeaaaalllly hoping that Rider isn't going back to the 2 part format all the time again.

Granted, I still haven't made it through all the various series, but the fact that Shinnosuke doesn't always conveniently have the belt on him isn't especially common, is it? I remember that being the case on occasion in Faiz, but not much else.

As for the episode over all, it wasn't bad. The series hasn't entirely clicked with me yet, but I do like most of the designs we've seen so far and I'm fond of a number of the characters already. It's just such a tonal shift back, I'm not quite there yet.

Gee. The Belt tells us that Proto-Drive died, and then recognizes Chase. It's like this series is one gigantic mystery!

Anyway, fine episode. Vegas's failed finisher was funny, fight was nice, and Chase is pretty cool (Not a big fan of his mash up design, but I guess it's to make it clear that he's not a Rider). Anyway, I'm not super big on Drive getting so many power ups after just 3 episodes, but I guess they're going the Fourze route.

The only real things that I'm not enjoying is the "He's in gear" thing. I get that it's Shinnosuke making a large realization over the current case, but the fact that someone has to pop in and say "He's in gear now!" is what kills it. That and the editing that goes into the special divisions force to make their scenes more comedic is just grating.

I love the little Cycle start up sound they put in at the end of Machine chaser's henshin when his eyes light up. Looking very cool. I wish he had a deeper voice though. Weird that his tech combines with mach down the road. Raises so interesting questions.

Also, the special crimes unit is already grinding my gears to no end.

But anything outside of them I still found enjoyable. But yeah, that bit with Proto Drive and Machine Chaser was a biiit too obvious. :P

I'm kind of liking Chase's design, but I'm not in love with it. His transformation and weapon are badass, though~

It's good, and I don't mind the asymmetry, it just seems too cluttered to me. I totally agree with the henshin and weapon though. When his gun says "Brake" after he claims to be the grim reaper, I get chills everytime.

I'm also gonna say that I'm gonna hold my opinion on Chase being Proto Drive for now. Kamen Rider has been known to through in those curveballs every now and then.

I also love how the main villains are Heart and Brain. They almost had Body.
