What do you all think of Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog?

If you all thought it was a "little" terrible, how would you all remake that series?

For me, I think about having that "someone from the future traveled to the past accidentally, but was chosen for a reason" concept. Like Kagome from Inuyasha. But in this case, the Mystic Knight of Fire.

Yes it sucked I love knights,dragons and swords and seeing no sword *or any physical* fighting in this series sucked as a kid.

So to "fix" it I would do proper fight choreography and not treat melee weapons like fancy laser guns*shakes fist angrily at He-Man*

Answer's probably never but man I would love to see these happen. I dig the designs of the armor and weapons.

The show's obviously really cheesy and not very intelligent, I still remember how the bad guys army attacked the castle like every episode, got defeated and ran away, with reused scenes. And if I find something to be stupid as a kid, I don't want to think what an adult would see in this.

I still enjoyed it though, much more than Power Rangers.

Germany actually had somewhat of a DVD release, but only two DVD's with two episodes, so four in total. Don't know if these had English audio or not.

And I think Saban still holds the rights, it might just be that there isn’t enough demand for this show to be released in its entirely on DVD/Bluray.

Would you all accept my idea if Rohan's character was rewritten into someone from the future who was caught by a portal that brought him to the past?

And the fighting choreography REALLY needs fixing. I mean there are no martial arts in that era, but can anything happen like that with sword fighting?

As for the villains, Maeve and Torc are okay. Same with the warlords. But they need better monsters like... evil knights.

Frankly, I loved the show. Granted it was extremely stupid at the time and sometimes the costumes really needed to be thought out a bit better (Ice Lord), but overall it was a fun, unique bit of entertainment that sadly went out just as it was really ramping up.

Also, Ivar was a badass.

Sword fighting is a martial art. Entire schools dedicated to it and such, though most of them are long lost and forgotten or only recently being discovered.

But yeah, some proper fight scenes and plots would be a vast improvement. I want to see the Azure Prince really USE that trident.

How would you all rewrite the story of Mystic Knights? My idea of a person chosen from the future to become a knight still stands.

As for the villains, due to the CGI & used monster suits, I think they need to do more monsters better than those.

Maeve could at least have chosen some of her Temra soldiers to become a knight-like monster to fight the Mystic Knights.
