I would say go with Deno as it is more comedy based than drama based, there is some drama but not as much some series.

Hm. I'm not AS big on the comedy thing.

I might more like Gaim or Decade, and less like Kiva or Hibiki.

Because I LOVED Gaim. And Decade was pretty cool.

But I tried Hibiki and...man. 20 minutes of japanese high school conversations or family talks with about 3-5 minutes of pretty slow action at the end is NOT my idea of entertainment.

I was hoping for something from Kiva but..Again. I'm not looking for a soap opera here. Oh. And Ryuki was not what I want either.

The first episode of Faiz was good but. I hear it's the same heaviness with the j-drama.

Maybe I'm spoiled by Gaim but...that balance of action and ACTUAL intriguing story is what I want.

Have you tried Double or OOO yet? I too started with Gaim and can't watch certain shows, mostly Showa, because I don't get into them at all.

Double or OOO don't offer highly intriguing stories, but the individual stories they tell are interesting and the characters are great IMO.

Just try them. I didnt try Double before Worf pushed me and with OOO I needed to watch more than the first two episodes to get hooked. But I'm glad I watched them, they are both good shows.

I recommend Den-O. Not just because it is my favorite Rider series, but because it is practically filled with comedy, yet having some drama scenes or parts in it. It's perfect for what you are looking for!
