If you want a light hearted Rider show Den-O,RX,Fourze and Kuuga would probably suffice.

I guess some people consider demons playing a murder game light? I wouldn't call Kuuga light, but it does have a bit of a warm feel to it if that makes sense.

If we go by that rule, I would say Den-O isn't always light-hearted, because honestly, Ryoutaro has some pretty emo moments too.

A light-hearted protagonist doesn't make the show light-hearted (Kuuga, Agito, Blade) and a serious protagonist isn't necessary an indicator for a serious show.
