Anyway, we already got Microsoft wanting Banjo, WayForward campaigning for Shantae, and Arc Systems rallying for Sol. When is Square gonna petition for Lightning or Atlus for Yu Narukami?

I think Square is more likely gonna ask for Sora, as he has appeared on Nintendo consoles. I know he has more hoops to jump through to get rights to him, but he's the only recognizable character from them that has appeared on Nintendo systems recently.

Silly Matrix, Yu has only appeared in one game on Nintendo platforms. He'd be a better fit in PS All-stars, but I digress.

So for some reason, I see people getting pissed over Mewtwo's price for no reason. People are upset that he follows the $5 a character format other fighting games have. But is it justifiable to have a character like that cost that much.

Matrix, I know you know a lot more about fighting games then I do, but should people be panicing over Mewtwo costing a few more dollars then they would like it to be?

Mewtwo actually only costs $4 alone, $5 if you buy him for both Wii U and 3DS.

And taking into account that A. Mewtwo's data is not on disc, B. He's a full fledged character (Not a texture swap or variation of an existing character), and C. He's not on the damned disc, it's actually a nice deal.

I kind of see why some people feel burned ("He should've been in the game since the beginning!" "He should be free!" "They're just trying to extort us!"), but I don't really agree with them. It's a reasonable price for a fresh character.
