Well no one posted this yet, sorry if it's late news. Looks like X-Plus is doing their own Godzilla 2014 figure this summer around Late June - Early July. The figure will be going around ¥24, 840 (apporximately $207.38 including tax). Standing at 32cm tall and 46cm long, this figure comes with a bonus mini Male Muto figure with a wingspan of 35cm. It looks like the Muto figure is not available from other retailers.

So... it's a really really big brick of godzilla-shaped plastic? The Jakks Pacific one fulfills that role just fine to me.

The non-ignorant typically call them "statues." Also, the Jakks Pacific one is a soft, cheap-looking bathtoy. This is actually detailed it seems.

X-Plus are high in figures. They have amazing details and anything. They are very popular with the higher collectors in the Godzilla fandom. X-Plus to Godzilla is like what Medicom is to Kamen Rider.

Huh. I don't think I've heard of this line before. Too bad it doesn't have rubber skin like a mini godzilla suit. Or does it?

I don't know about rubber but X-Plus stuff are always been known to have super well detail and are very accurate to the suit designs.
