Cause he came after Takeru (admittedly my favorite red ranger) and Marvelous (the common fan favorite). I think Alata is alright and his team has probably the best suits of the last fifteen seasons.

Damnit, now I'm going to have to re-watch Goseiger...lol

It's still amazing that people find Marvelous more bad-ass for hurting himself with his own weapon, while Alata reflects the show's main villain's attack with his bare hand. Not to mention that most of Alata's untransformed fights were more badass than most of what Marvelous did- not that I don't like Marvelous, but he wasn't as epic as Alata.
But then again, every Red has awesome moments. Even Akashi. As much as I dislike that guy.

I honestly think people are attracted to Marvelous' confidence. Alata is more reserved and quiet when he needs to be, but Marvy is pretty much always in your face. People may say they don't like that in a person in real life, but that is the type of person they want to lead a group of super heroes. Tony Stark is the same way and he is extremely popular as Iron Man.

I know a ton of people that hate Tono-sama and it is for similar reasons they hate Alata.

What do you think was the awesome moment for either of the red rangers in Sun Vulcan? Cause the only thing I can think of involves them throwing the Vulcan Stick and that just showcased the awesomeness of that weapon rather than the badassness of the ranger lol

Gosh, I don't like Tony Stark xD And at the end of the day, Captain America is still the leader and he's also my favorite Avenger :P

I think Hiba was pretty awesome when he freed himself from the boat with the bomb in episode 24. Can't say much about Owashi because the first half of Sun Vulcan was pretty uninteresting in general, but there was this one episode with a kid that was taken hostage where I though he was pretty cool. I think it's somewhere before episode 10.
Both moments were their time to shine- for what was possible in a show as plain as Sun Vulcan.
Also, I really liked Hiba and though the show greatly improved when he took over as Vul Eagle.

I heard Bioman, Jetman, and Dairanger as some of the best and JAKQ, and Sun Vulcan to be among the worst.

Dairanger was awesome and I'm saddened by it not getting a PR release but maybe we will get lucky and Shout Factory will do an English Sub for it. As for the others I haven't watched them so I wouldn't know

my personal best sentai:
1. jet man - guy caught my attention but sadly he died in the end
2. shinkenger - I love it when the leader seeks protection from his team too.
still watching this series over and over hehe
3. gokaiger - anniversary team up welcomes past sentai heroes. cool to be able to watch them shining over the episodes. casting and acting also the storyline was awesome.

my worst sentai's:
1. goseiger - don't know why, but if ever I start watching, I feel dizzy
2. goonger- same
3. caranger - maybe I just don't drive cars yet, but gotta give them a chance
