I really like the idea of amber stones being the collectible gimmick. Different forms could have different colors of amber.

Well you have to consider that collectibles need to be cool enough for people to want to... youknow. Collect them. I suppose what I pictured there was an egg shaped amber stone with a dinosaur name and silhouette. Then when it's inserted into the Driver and the jaws bite down, it slides through and into the window. There the driver lights up the stone, revealing a figurine, or three dimensional skeleton, or something inside. Just an example of how the collectibles would power the form changes: Say his forms are something like Carnivore, Herbivore, Omnivore and Aquavore and there are four different colored categories of stones to represent them. Any of the Carnivore colored stones would transform him in to the Carnivore base form, and then depending on the dinosaur revealed inside, it would give him a particular power, weapon, or additional armor. Again - for example - his first transformation could be "Carnivore Tyranno." Carnivore being the base, and that particular stone's ability granting him the Tyranno Blade. He could from there switch out the stone with another Carnivore colored stone, say Raptor. The base suit would stay the same but it would switch out the sword for something like claws. I know we're just focusing on collectibles right now, but you simply HAVE to blur the lines for some things. Before officially deciding on a collectible device, we must consider how well something like it could be implemented and what each one would do first. Maybe the Base forms have different secondary weapons, and the stone slightly alters the abilities, i.e. Raptor is fast, Tyranno has a lot of beefy beefcake beefyness, etc. etc. What would be the mid-season upgrade though?

Not necessarily. What I'm getting at is we need to at least start thinking about how the form changes and power ups are going to work whilst we decide on the collectible or else we might choose a something that doesn't allow enough options gimmick wise. I also think this thread should get back to the poll and voting format more often, here. It's much more effective than guessing or assuming all of us are on the same page or in agreement as far as an idea goes. |

Good idea Yuu. As for what you said RollOut, Ok. Well, I think we should try to get the belt down solid before we work on the collectibles. The belt will help us figure out what kind of collectible to go with.

We shouldn't be discussing forms. I think it's obvious we're going with RollOut's design . It's perfect and can work with any collectible device.
