Well the "rivalry" (I wouldn’t even call it that) between Rider 3 and V3 is pretty obvious, this had to happen. And because Rider 3 is the antagonist of the movie, he had to win.

Ending a largely standalone movie with a "now buy our pay per view special!" is a pretty shitty way of ending a film. Not to mention the fact that destroying the Shocker history alteration machine reversed everything except Mach dying doesn't exactly have a lot of internal logic to it.

If I remember correctly you don't pay anything... it's just a 3 Episode web special for which people who viewed Taisen GP in cinemas got a DVD with episode 1 for free. But you could still watch 2 & 3 for free online.

I dunno, I felt this movie was bit to random at times. I certainly liked that Yuuto made an appearance again.

Like Chase...? Where in the world did you come from? I love ya dude, but that was like such a random moment, that I think it would'nt even matter if he was in that scene or not.

I do like that they were willing to kill off characters and that it happened so early on in the movie too, really did make it feel like they were in a war.

Yeah, I did like that aspect of it. I'm just not a fan of things that have reset buttons and then cherrypick what stays and what doesn't.

I still keep coming back to the fact that there's really no way V3 should exist in a world where Hongo and Ichimonji died at the end of the original series.

So this movie happened.

Couldnt say I enjoyed it very much at all. It was pretty much the same stupid and boring movie we get every year. Honestly dont know why I even bother watching them anymore

You watch them because of your dedication to Kamen Rider. Nothing more, nothing less. That is all. Resume your other daily activities.

They could have done so much more with this movie. Especially given how they talk about "the history of Kamen Rider" during the end of the movie.

Why not have the movie be a misfit group of Rider having to stop Shocker at certain points in Rider history? Its a concept that hasnt been really done before. The only thing we ever get is these alternate timeline storys.
