Toei will register the trademark for the next series in September, and that information will be made public sometime between late September and late October.

At this point, the most anyone who's leaking rumors has been exposed to is early concept sketches and second-hand hearsay from people close to Toei/Bandai.

Most Recent Example: just before KR Ghost's title was announced, the rumor was that it would be "street" fashion based. Obviously Ghost is not fashion based -- but, there was a kernel of truth in those rumors... Ghost's forms are definitely "street-fashion" inspired.

Most Recent Sentai Example: just before Ninninger was announced, Orends:Range reported rumors that it would be bird-based. That turned out to be completely false.

Second Most Recent Sentai Example: at this time in 2013, Dukemon put forth the rumor that 2014's series would be called Senkan Sentai Gounova (Battleship Sentai Gounova). The actual series was Ressha Sentai ToQger.

So... Yeah... We'll get more info about the title in the next couple weeks, but rumors -- while sometimes containing a kernel of truth -- are more often gunshots in the dark.

You're about the Sentai show runners wanting to drum up viewership again, but can they do that?

I'm thinking either new blood HAS to be brought in or take a break after the 40th because at this point if the new shows are Ninninger in quality then BoJ is just wasting money.

The 40th could be a return of the first shows' formula or they might end up trying to do another Carranger type of show. Whatever they decide to do it has to be better than Ninninger because that show ended up as a colossal misfire.
