So I've heard that Toshiki Inoue is writing the film and Osamu Kaneda is directing it. This is what I've heard on twitter so take it with a grain of salt.

It's Inoue and Kaneda.
Inoue being Igami Masaru's son has experience working with the old showa staff while helping dad to copy scripts at home. (mentioned in the book about his dad)
Kaneda involved in filming action scenes ever since the original series.
Fujioka thinks it is a big deal working with the remaining original staff in this movie. (mentioned many times in his blog)

That's good to hear. I think they will put together a much better movie than the last few Super Hero Taisens here. I'm glad Inoue is back for this.

It's Inoue; it's not going to be good. But at least it might not be the one damn plot that Yonemura knows. Expect a large amount of time wasted on entirely irrelevant fluff, though.
