ABC has been announcing a lot of early renewals and it looks like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back for series 4. No word on Agent Carter yet. It's unlikely, but I live in hope.

Why would it be unlikely? If Shield can get renewed, Carter is a given. Plus, Carter isn't until Jan, so it is too early to announce a third season. They're probably also waiting to see what happens with Atwell and her upcoming pilot episode.

ABC is announcing everything early this year, it seems. They're months ahead of their normal announcements at the upfronts. There is no way on Earth that Agent Carter is a "given" because the ratings were pretty abysmal across the board. The season 2 finale was the lowest rated episode over both seasons. Hayley Atwell has already said she could do both shows, but ABC and advertisers aren't going to be interested in a series people aren't watching. Most folks are of the opinion that the SHIELD spin-off will take Carter's place. I'd rather have more Peggy, but the general consensus out there is that it isn't a safe bet.

Yeah, but Carter was competing against Flash and iZombie. Not to mention all of the presidential bullshit that has been going on on Tuesdays.

I think that it looks really awesome. Mostly because I'm a sucker for 60s Spidey. Its completey CG and I'm pretty sure its just early footage we see in the trailer and the final version will look a lot better.
