I follow Bennett among a few others, but as a non-english native speaker who watch almost everything in original version with english subs, his obsessive behaviour about the english dubs in anime sometimes annoy me, specially when half of a video is talking about how the dub sucks.
He made an example about different people (well, 2 of his friends) watching a short video of "Tokyo Godfathers" with subs, to explain why he almost never watch/review subbed stuff: reading stuff and following story is too complicated ! Honestly, that just a question of habit.

On Linkara subject, I'm glad he made the History of PR serie. I'm kind of curious about the PR shows, but I'm not really interested in watching them.

Wow, didn't know so many people felt so snippy about Linkara. I like his videos, but he does seem rather prickly.

A lot of people have mixed feelings on Linkara. I see a lot of people on /co/ that hate him. People like Asalieri2 and The Archfiend called him out for E-begging when he made a video about ad block.

I have no beef with him personally, I just don't like the fact that he spends more time in his review summarizing everything and his thoughts and opinions just boils down to small nit picks.

Super Sentai is all about fun, colour, cool suit work, people in giant robot costumes wailing on each other and, perhaps most importantly, the sense that, whatever the odds, good will eventually overcome evil.

I feel like this guy not only doesn't get that, but spends 25mins inadvertantly sucking all the magic out of something that should be sheer, multicoloured fun.

(I have to confess that I gave up with 10mins to go, so maybe he turns it all around!)

How would he not get that considering he has a side project that is literally just him watching every Power Rangers season?

I think he just focused too much on trying to be funny so those who aren't into Sentai or even know about it will still have something entertaining to watch?

Probably.

Also as a way to break up all the Japanese that most of his audience wouldn't understand despite subtitles because even with subtitles I get bored because marathoning toku or subbed anime just because I can't understand Japanese.

You clearly didn't pay attention to the review. Are you saying you can't enjoy something, do a review of it and make fun of it?
