I wouldn't be for keeping the actors the same, but it would be nice to have a few references here and there. Like in the Disney seasons, where they would occasionally reference things from the previous season.

I kinda like the cast turnover, but I also love the scope of seasons 1-In space. For the most part, they explained why they took new powers(except Turbo of course). The villains had history with each other and overall that was a better time for power rangers. a time we will never get again

My problem was that there was no sense of hierarchy. How many emperors of evil did we have from MMPR to In Space? The villains' history was marginalized because none of them mattered. Rita was kicked to the curb by Zedd, who was then turned into a mild threat by Rita, who was revealed to have a brother equally as powerful as her, who turned into a buffoon as the seasons went on, and then their stronger father (Who is somehow higher up on the food chain desptie Rita and Zedd being cited as emperors of evil) showed up only to just bamf off later. They were then overthrown by the Machine Empire, who in turn were destroyed entirely by a simple bomb, and then they all just quit and sleep in all day for Divatox, who (Despite winning in the end), is scoffed off and Astronema takes the new title.
There was history, but to me, none of it mattered...Our longest lasting villains were turned into jokes, while the shorter lived threats weren't treated with the gravitas they deserved.
