[Kamen Rider Ultra]

Well with the ending of Amazons just occurring and season two already in the works.

I would like to know which other Kamen Rider Series. That you wouldn't mind being remade in the same darker tone as Amazons.

Me personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Kamen Rider Kiva. Because the vampire motif would fit perfectly with a more darker theme to it.



But what do you all say?

Darker tone or not (no real reason anything besides Amazon should go as hyperviolent on us, for instance) I would love to see Stronger revisited in a similar manner.

I'd love to see Kamen Rider X get a modern redo with a proper modern Apollo Geist.

My choice? Kamen Rider Shin, preferably a straight up continuation, though a reboot/spiritual successor would be okay with me too.

Was about to say this myself.

In the original series, Geist is looking for a way to prolong his life. You could definitely make a tragic Kamen Rider series by having a new version of X and Apollo Geist be friends. No matter how close they get, you know they're doomed to fight each other to the death and I think that would be a fantastic tone to set a series against.

(that or do a revamp of Stronger, have a much clearer relationship between Yuriko and Shigeru. The producer of Amazons, Shirakura, is really into having relationships be doomed from the start)

I think Kuuga could work. The mythos behind the Grongi is pretty violent as is.
Make Daguva a proper villain with more set up than 2 silhouettes appearing in a blurry photo, give Gadoru-Ba more screen time and more set up as a counter to Kuuga's Rising forms to force him into Amazing (Or hell, cut Amazing and have him go Ultimate to beat Gadoru, but still only match Daguva), make the Grongi's goals as a whole more clear, and focus more on Ichijou as a character.
They could even do that SIC follow up with the one chick becoming a second Kuuga.

Granted, my wants are more as a Kuuga re-write rather than the Amazons treatment.

Decade, just because I'm a fan and it's sad to be a fan of the show that have no plot.

And second, I want a reboot of Black RX. Make it like Amazons, where you have a redesigned Black RX suit but with a different story.

I'd say X, Shin, maaaaaybe Stronger to make General Shadow look even more disturbing, and for Heisei, Kuuga, Ryuki, Hibiki and Kiva.

I'm down with an Amazon-esque Kamen Rider X redo, though I think I'd be more interested in a ZX (so basically Kamen Rider Spirits).
