I didn't even think this was "Avengers but not." The first trailer looks more like "every single one of those gray dreary tween dystopian 'rebel against the system and be an INDIVIDUAL!' based-on-a-crappy-young-adult-book movies all starting the same blank faced 15-year-old girl as a main character because female empowerment but with Power Rangers crudely stapled onto it." Well that and Chronicle.

Anyway, I hate anything based on young adult literature including young adult literature itself.

If this movie is rated PG-13, then they better add blood and gore in it.

Blood and gore is not going to happen. PG-13 movies for the last 10 years can push the limit compare to 80's and 90's movies, but they still have limits.

Todays PG-13 is nothing like the 80's or early 90's.

Maybe not for all of them, but I do feel like some old R rated movies would be PG-13 now like Air Force One, The Matrix, Judge Dredd 1995 (I always forget that this movie is R), Escape from New York and The Fog. The 4th Terminator movie was reported to have more gun violence than T2. I even remember the last Beowulf movie that they did was PG-13 and it had a lot of blood.

They absolutely do not have blood and gore. They have blood, but very little.
