Just ordered Kyuren-Oh and pre-ordered the next Minipla set. I've watched several youtube reviews in the last couple hours and I'm convinced: Kyuren-oh'll be my first official mini-pla. I'm super excited- it looks super awesome- and I gotta say: original design....it is, I actually watched the gattai sequence on youtube and it's a pretty neat mecha. ^_^ If I can make one critique thing: The cockpits are totally exposed- there's nothing protecting the rangers. Considering their occupation and where they're fighting, I would think protecting the cockpit would be a top priority- but based on what I saw: Nope. LOL I can't wait for my Minipla Kyuren-oh to show up though man, it's a really impressive product. |

I received my set this week (separate small boxes not the big box). I mounted shishi voyager this morning. It is really great. I thought that the panel inside the kyutama would roll. But if the sphere itself rolls, the panel stays as it. I inverted the stickers so I will see the zodiacal sign instead of the pilot (coc kpit seems to be a forbidden word ???) view. As seen in the bandai blog, the only difference with the second set is the sticker for the shishi kyutama and a part to fix the other voyager has another colour. |

				 | Quote: I'm debating cancelling my preorder for super minipla Daizyujin. I want it, but looking at GaoGaiGar, it's Master Grade price for High Grade size and complexity. The zords lack articulation, and the T. Rex's mouth can't even open. For $55 I could get an actual Master Grade that's far more intricate despite the transformation with better parts seperation. I wish I could see more detailed pics of the unpainted, unstickered model before release. Quote: Quote: I just preordered daizyujin and forgot about it but now that I think about it, I got the Legacy one which transforms and combines as well as the SRC which is super articulated so I don't have a real need for the super minipla one. It definitely is expensive for what is but I'm still excited for it probably because MMPR and that it's a model kit. I also ordered it at AmiAmi which I don't think cancels easily. Haha. Where are you guys preordering the super miniplas? I'd like to get GaoGaiGar and Daizyujin. |

				 | Quote: The partsforming is eh. I know it's a minipla thing but I was hoping the "Super" would streamline things. The pre-painted face is nice, though. Whatevs, I'll keep mine. I just wish the T. Rex's mouth opened and the tiger's legs bent. |

I'm not surprised with the triceratops and saber tooth tiger. It's difficult to pull off ankle joints when the parts count on the individual models are so low.

I just figured it'd be a telescoping balljoint rather than a swing-down peg on a seperate joint. Though I was actually talking about the T. Rex head having to be removed and placed in the chest upside down. |
