Yes it was of Japanese origin but there are Japanese players who know English and play the games in English, which it how I got it.

It was a Japan exclusive event. It should at least say it was Japanese like how a mon from Germany says GER. Check it's status screen for when and how it was met

That Tapu Koko of yours is hacked. You cannot trade them over GTS. The Classic Ribbon that should be on it prevents that.

You could look at it that way. But on the flipside, you could also be thankful that you know how to tell fake event Pokémon from real ones now, and you also probably have found out the reason for your bans at the same time. It’s not that you created fake Pokémon, but rather received them and possible traded them around after as well.

Maybe the GTS isn’t really what you’re looking for considering how much trouble it causes you. If you want to hunt event / shiny Pokémon a legitimate forum with a supervised marketplace might be more helpful.

I actually did, I signed up to Neoseeker. They have a pretty good Pokémon trading forum on there and I was able to post my want list for Gen VII Shinies on there.

I also signed up to Serebii.net's forum and posted my want list there as well.

I went into a record shop today that happens to sell videogames and I see two of the GBA Pokemon games, I think Emerald and Leafgreen both going for $35.

But I checked price charting online and the average price of the cart is like $10-20 dollars. Is it normal for stores to price gouge on pokemon games or am I crazy?

It's normal, gaming stores and such are dying out so they're trying to trick people
