But 'ey, look on the bright side. People can now play pokemon while staring at their TV in all its whatever hi-res glory with no need to get fancy third-party extension cables, etc. or choose to go old school and play it portable as of Gen 8. Can't complain.

I think the thing with the codes may just vary with location. I went in for some Silvally codes today and all they had at the GameStop I went to were the printed out receipt codes.

I'm just surprised they actually made new models for them instead of taking the easy route and just porting over the ORAS models lol!

I don't think it's Mega Evolution hate. They showed both Mega Mewtwo's in the trailer and it wouldn't surprise me if Giovanni used them depending on the version you're playing. They could even give the other bosses a Legendary to use since Giovanni has Mewtwo.

Archie - Kyogre
Maxie - Groudon
Cyrus - Giratina
Ghetsis - Kyurem
Lysandre - Xerneas/Yveltal depending on the version
