Tokusatsu Podcast

Would be cool to be part of a Toku podcast. I just hate the ones that interrupt and speak over everyone every 5 minutes.

I'm serious folks. If the interest is there, get together over PM and work out a time to get together on Skype and record one. Or record one on your own. Podcasting does not require a lot of special equipment -- mostly a microphone, and a headset if you are doing it over Skype. I record Earth Destruction Directive on my MP3 player and edit in Audacity, for example -- nothing fancy.

It would be interesting to be a part of in some way, but it takes practice runs of the podcast, and getting use to eachother speaking through microphone.

I have heard that, although in my experience I haven't really had that problem. The other show I do (The Vault of Startling Monster Horror Tales of Terror) started out because myself and two other guys were talking about the John Carpenter movie Prince of Darkness on a thread and we just arranged a time and did it. If you have a general idea what you are going to talk about (say, the latest episodes of Gokaiger and Fourze, in that order), you'd be surprised how organized a first podcast can sound, since (hopefully) everyone will have some notes and you can briefly discuss logistics before you start recording (who's going to give a synopsis, who will give their comments first, etc.).

All I'm saying is that doing a podcast is not something to be intimidated by (not suggesting you are, by the way, this is a general comment).

I'll also throw out a plug for Superhero Time. It's very funny, but also to the point. There's not a whole hell of a lot of rambling and the cast is knowledgable and fun to listen to.

*really hope ExVee doesn't read this and gets a big head*

Here's an idea... instead of telling TokuNation to host a podcast, there seems to be enough of you guys to start your own Toku podcast

It should be real simple. For those of you who want in, just start one. Just don't affiliate it with this site though... for legal reasons you know
