Can someone refresh me on how to post an image? Can't seem to get it to work at all

Two ways technically. You can either post one as an attachment, by clicking the "Manage Attachments" button down below whenever you start a post by using the "Post Reply" button, or you can upload it to an image hosting site like Imgur, and paste the link with the tags "[img]" and "[/img]" surrounding it(without the quotations).
