It is a two-handed sword but I think it is more appropriate to consider it a stylized zanbatto than a zweihander. Because for starters zweihanders are double-edged while Gekido is single-edged, hence probably why Raijin said that. Zanbatto by the way is a two-handed sword used by samurai which literally translates to horse-cutting sword.

Yes it would have been cool, but Emotional dragon is more of an Upgrade to Saber's base form. Right side Red, white center and black left side. That would have been hard to pull off with the others. Primitive as white maybe, but that's about it

I didn't even think of sword styles haha. I just thought Gekido looks like a standard single-edged Buster Sword (heh) and Zweihander is more so a thinner greatsword.
