I like that they gave the little guys their own smaller combined modes... they were always the most boring part of Ryusoulger so this should at least make the toys more fun

I don't know why the boxed items are not Tricera/Ankylo and Tiger/Stego, it makes more sense.

Finally, but I think imma do what I did with Beast Morphers and Mighty Morphin and that is to wait for the Amazon box set.

Simple, it's a clever marketing strategy, you want to make the first big combined mode between the first three Rangers? Better buy them all! Want the siblings zords? Better buy them all!

The green/pink combo looks like something I would have created as a kid. Which is entirely meant as a compliment - showing off the potential creativity in the line.

Plus this allows both to be sold in the same assortment given that the two zords in each set equal each other and the champion zord in size (roughly). If these were sold as Red, Green/Black and Blue/Pink then all three would mostly be in different assortments, which would probably complicate things for stores.

Hmm… I was hoping these would be as cool as the Bandai DX line, but without the import markup, but they… are not.

				 | Quote: What I do wonder about is "Zord Link" and whether this will be the spiritual successor to Bandai USA's "Zord-Builder"!? I don't see any possibility of Ryusoulger/Dino Fury designs interacting with the Zords of a future P.R. season, but I do wonder if "Zord Link" could become a blanket phrase used from one season to the next, ultimately referring to that season's interconnectivity as opposed to the cross-connectivity of the old "Zord-Builder" System! |

Maybe I'm missing something, but to me they look identical aside from better proportions and articulation. All the paint apps are the same, they don't have any extra hollow bits, they don't seem to be missing functionality. What makes them not as cool as the Bandai DX ones?
