Agreed, the first impression is already more visually appealing to me than Zero One Rising Hopper, Saber Brave Dragon, Vice Rex Genome and Geats MagnumBoost. Brave Dragon did grow on me a lot though and Revi Rex Genome is still one of my favorites for the cool pink/blue/purple colors and toothy smile, even though it doesn't really fit the user's personality much.

I also think it's humorous how Rumor Geats' wolf/axe suit was blue and orange and now Gotchard is actually blue and orange.

Well, last time she wrote a train-themed Tokusatsu.... It was problematic. Personally, I would like to see more Inoue (since he did a Sentai recently), a first for Komura, or maybe a return from Muto!

Komura and Muto are always my go to hopes honestly, i'd be overjoyed to see either of them! Here's hoping!

Inoue would certainly be interesting to see on rider again, but I feel like he might want a bit longer of a break before taking on another year-long toku project

Tbh i'm now more convinced than ever that the gummi "leak" is 1000% bogus, it doesn't have a single piece in common which the main suit, or even a simiular silhouette, which you'd expect it to even as a "half" form. Can't lie, I'm overall not a fan of the suit. My general twitter sphere has been saying it looks like a movie Rider and I have to agree. The design is just too disjointed and clunky for my tastes... though I am a fan of certain specific elements like the goggles and sole designs. (And is that a scarf I see?)

That said... CARD SEASON!!! CARD SEASON IN REIWA!!! I've been posting "damn we need to have a card season again" without much hope to it for as long as I've been into Rider. (Which admittedly is only two years, I'm new here.) And now my prayers have come true! Very excited to see this go down.

Agree with the speculation that this is going to be a more classic Rider style season based on the goggles, antennae, scarf etc, not to mention the cards. I really hope it is because I love Showa and Heisei 1 eras, I haven't really been a fan of the direction the franchise is going, and the last time Rider did a Showa throwback (Build) it ruled so hard. Crossing my fingers...!

(Everyone speculating Kobayashi is getting my hopes up... please don't make me dream a futile dream... T_T)

I'm loving everything I see about Gotchard. The suit looks amazing, the belt looks really neat, and the card designs are phenomenal.

I am really curious as to how the form changes are going to be handled. The helmet looks a bit more grasshopper-esque and the chest is definitely more train inspired, so maybe certain parts swap? Either that or two cards have to stay with designated form(s).

Really excited to see "Pilets" and "Madwheel" as a form. Honestly this feels like Build 2.0 and I am ecstatic.

As for the writer, Yasuko Kobayashi would be cool to see (Toqger was amazing, and Amazons was all right). While it's unlikely, it would be cool to see Kazuki Nakashima make a return as a writer or even Keiichi_Hasegawa. Considering how unorthodox a lot of Reiwa Rider series have been, it would be nice to see a Rider a little more traditional.

Just not Junko Komura. She singlehandedly help nosedive Sentai, and literally every series that she has written has major steps down in quality.

Also, while it's not going to be clear for a few months, I hope that Gotchard has a looser/more fun tone like Fourze, or even Drive. Reiwa Rider series have kind of made it a bad habit to start out with a bit of a serious tone, so it would be nice to have a change.

That's fair. Back in Heisei Phase 1, he had at least a full year between new installments and even that seemed like it would be a lot for some writers to handle. However, I recall that Inoue boasted (feels like exaggeration) in a Donbrothers interview that he doesn't suffer writer's block or burnout, due to his spontaneous risk-taking style. But yeah, I think we'd all want him to be properly rested and prepared.

But in general, here you can still remember that before Saber they wanted rumors about the brother and sister of the riders who embodied in Revice. I think I've read that the development of the rider show starts two years before its release, so it's no surprise that some leaks from early concepts for later series are taken as false rumors for the current series.

He doesn't suffer, but his shows suffer Because with all the coolness of Inoue, he has a sad tendency to give up towards the final.

The armor mostly going down his legs reminds me a lot of Zero One. And the driver looks like it won't be to bulky for fights (although Add-ons may change that).

Upon closer inspection, it looks like he has a brace or something on his left arm? It might be an additional device or just armor, I can't tell.

Some sketch of the full suit at a different angle has it show a brace with the orange and black colours used by Japanese railroads, might be a Drive Driver situation where it's part of the belt
