Oh yeah no this movie was amazing, it reignited my love for Superman and made me reread All Star Superman when I got back home, we haven't had a good Superman movie hit the silver screen in like 45 years and I'm excited to see more of DC's projects like next year's Supergirl

I didn't care for the fact that Jor-El and his wife are coded as virtual assholes and sexists and omnicidal shitheads, but I suppose that it was necessary for the sake of the story and character development. Mr. Terrific stole the show in the scenes he was in! I've never been a humongous fan of the character until I saw that portrayal. I honestly got a little emotional when Pa Kent gave our main man an obvious albeit different perspective to his moral predicament. I agree with everyone who ISN'T Guy: "Justice Gang" is a stupid name! |

I agree with everyone who ISN'T Guy: "Justice Gang" is a stupid name! How did DC get the rights to use "Ultraman" for a character that isn't even the comics version (technically)!? I've heard that Gunn himself is a self-described Ultraman fan, and DC has history with the name, but I still wonder how that usage works without triggering a lawsuit (or at least a C&D) from Tsuburaya! |

I know it's odd to "quote" one's self, but I forgot to add something.
