I've been a huge fan for a few years now, I'm fond of the genre, fond of the silliness, and absolutely adore the effort put into each show.
What I do not enjoy is having to constantly find a new streaming site to watch it on because god forbid we americans watch tokusatsu online without having to go through the hassle of torrenting and downloading. I really hope with the newest season, Tohei stops being so fucking stupid and puts all their shows up to stream with high quality subs. It isn't copyright infringement if we can't watch your show legally because you are too dense to give us a way to legally watch it. I'm a huge fan, but I am not going through the hassle of downloading each new episode. |

This isn't even a common problem anymore though. Anybody not accommodated by Toei's official Zeztz streaming service will simply watch it through the reliable multi-quality streaming site that already exists, same with all the other shows.

Well, I'll continue to sail under the Jolly Roger for now anyway, because my country didn't make it into the first wave (or was it the second? The first was China with Gavv) of Toei's international screenings.
In fact, I'm a little upset that Tsuburaya chose YouTube for Ultraman instead of his official website. Yes, I understand that Youtube has a large auditory and the ability to attract casual viewers, but for me, the weekly adventures of the silver giant simply drown in the flow of other recommendations and I always forget about it. Maybe, I must create a separate account for watching YouTube tokusatsu. |

It's nice that they want me to watch and all, since I have the same feeling as a writer, but their franchise doesn't appeal to me. I'm mostly interested in Toei's or Ishinomori's works.

I'd also appreciate anyone being able to help me find a streaming site I could use, tokuzilla and toku555 are decent enough, but very slow to load and only have the most recent shows, or have the episodes cut up into multiple parts. I'm also just not interested in ultraman, I gave ultraman MAX a go, it just.....didn't click with me.

P.S. Write if you need links. P.P.S. I hope these revelations won't deprive us of sites to watch. Who knows when Toei and other companies will get back to wanting to ban illegal translations. |

I didn't know that. Well, that's exactly why such things need to be discussed more carefully. I hope Universal doesn't look in there. I decided to watch all their classic horror movies and a few lesser-known ones can't be found without the Archive.

The real problem is those spiteful people on X who snitch to Shirakura, which makes him legally obligated to act. He pretty much implied that he doesn't mind how we watch the shows, as long as he doesn't hear about them. But yeah, discretion is our friend here.
