Alot of superheroing going on this July, huh?
![]() MAFEX No Way Home Tobey Spider-Man: Not perfect, but by far the best figure we've gotten of this Spider-Man to date. Really love this figure. Almost as much as... ![]() MAFEX Spider-Man 2099: Over the years, Miguel has become one of my all time favorite Spider-Men, and this figure does a great job at capturing his stylized proportions he had in the original 1992 run of the comics. Like Tobey, he's not perfect, but definitely my personal favorite MAFEX figure to date. ![]() Ultraman - Along Came a Spider-Man Vol. 1: Wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but it's a very strong start to the story and I eagerly await volume 2 of this very fitting isekai/crossover. ![]() ![]() PR Board Game Smaller Expansions: Now that the big box expansions are out of the way, it's time to work my way down. ![]() Super X Black Ranger Hoodie: I know taking a photo of the hoodie itself would've made more sense, but I just really like how they package these, okay? ![]() Robot Spirits Grendizer U: Nin-Nin-Game halved the price of this guy for their summer sale, so I went ahead and nabbed it. Grendizer U was a show that I got more enjoyment out of then I thought I would, and I really hope it gets a second season. ![]() Discotek Kamen Rider X Blu-Ray: I've said before and I'll keep saying it. If Discotek is gonna be the way we officially get (almost) all of Showa KR in English, then I am all for it. ![]() Mythic Legions Stavros: The proportions on this guy are a little weird, but outside of that it's a very pretty figure. Might just display it as a generic Dragon Man, personally. ![]() SHF Daima SS1 Goku: The figure that broke alot of SHF Dragon Ball collectors, and to be honest, I still don't really get why. Most of the complaints I've read are about stuff that Tamashii has done many times before with previous figures, and worse at that. For what the figure in itself is, it's rather well done, and I'm happy to have it. Really hope they do SS2 in the future. Or that a 3rd Party makes a hair sculpt atleast.

Didn't have as much time to open things and take better pics, but July had some great hauls
Hasbro Star Wars Vintage Collection Mix of past releases and new figures. The new figures from this month are excellent and there's plenty of figures to look forward to the remainder of the year ![]() ![]() S.H. Figuartarts ![]() Kamen Rider Valen - Another fantastic Rider figure. The finish on the "chocolate" sections is done gorgeously, you almost want to break a section off and have a bite! Peter B. Parker & Mayday - I don't have many of the Spider-Verse figures, but I was sold on the inclusion of Mayday. There are several option parts packed in to make a great variety of displays. And if anything, the base Spidey figure looks fantastic Mini Goku - Admittedly, I'm not a huge Dragon Ball fan. But the price was really inexpensive so I thought why not. Its a great little figure and will make for a fun toy to fiddle around with on my desk Shokugan Modeling Project MagiKing ![]() Another great SMP. Fun build and as always I'm blown away how these kits retain the features of the original DX toys (even if I never owned this particular mecha as a kid). The 2000s Sentai seasons gave us great robots, I'm glad to see the brand continue to focus on this era Inart - The Dark Knight Batman ![]() This was one of my most anticipated releases of the year and it delivered. Fantastic likeness and attention to detail. Inart may be a quiet #2 in the 1/6 game, but this should be a huge splash in the 1/12 market. I do have some nitpicks, but this is a strong first impression for their first release in this scale ![]()

Some neat stuff in that haul there!
My big issue with the Peter B. figure there is that I feel like he's way too tall. He works great as a 1/10th scale figure, but 1/12th? Not so much. And man, Inart. I've seen the reviews on that Batman and he's beautiful. I am very much awaiting their release of The Destined One from Black Myth Wukong. That figure looks gorgeous!

I wonder if the first Miles and Gwen figures had to be sized up because they're shorter/thinner characters; and that lead to the whole scale being off because the adult characters are so much taller. Regardless, I don't mind. The figure is objectively very well made and like I mentioned, the extra option parts are excellent
Unrelated, by why can't I see my pictures on my write up days after posting it?? |

Brought in my haul for August a little early.
![]() Nendoroid Shovel Knight: I thought I'd long since missed out on this guy, but to my surprise I recently found one for its original price. ![]() JADA Toys Mettaur 6-Pack: It's just a set of fun little guys. Love the packaging. ![]() Valaverse Praetorian Fury: I wish the primary color were something different since a Green Praetorian already exists, but even so, I like how this one came out. ![]() ![]() Heroes of the Grid Minions Packs: I always try to show some love towards the mooks of Toku shows, and Power Rangers is no different. ![]() SKC Garo V2: I have mixed feelings on this one. I get that the idea is to make it look like he's using Blazing Armament, but in exchange you lose the beautiful chrome gold paint job that the original figure had. And we don't even get a fire accessory to put on the sword. I might commission someone to repaint this into Jaaku. ![]() Storm Arena Ken: The hype is real. This figure really is as good as most people say it is; especially for its price point. Now, it's not a perfect figure, but damn, I am very impressed with it overall. ![]() Jada Toys Sagat & Vega: Jada still aren't any slouches in the Street Fighter department though. I legit feel like the line gets better with every single new character that gets released, and that alone is wonderful to see. ![]() Black Hole Toys Majin Vegeta: While I have a couple gripes(like the figure having sleeves for some reason), I overall think this is the best 3rd Party Majin Vegeta to date. Really love the head sculpt especially. ![]() SHF King Gomah & Daima Vegeta: I enjoyed Gomah as a villain, so I opted for his figuart. It's decent. The Vegeta however, surprised me. It's arguably the best Vegeta body that the line has gotten, and with a little modification, makes for an excellent SSG Vegeta body to boot.
