This thread celebrates 40 years of Saved By The Bell.

The series originally was titled Good Morning Miss Bliss on Disney Channel. Good Morning Miss Bliss was renamed Saved By The Bell - The Junior High Years.

The Shout Factory release retains the Good Morning Miss Bliss series title on the DVDs.

For syndication the Saved By The Bell opening was used but features the Good Morning Miss Bliss cast.

Saved By The Bell scene switch bumper music is heard during the scene change.

Saved By The Bell end credits style closing credits are seen at the end of each episode.

Good Morning Miss Bliss had a different opening theme when aired on Disney Channel.

Belding , Lisa Zack and Sam Powers are the only 4 to feature in all episodes of both Good Morning Miss Bliss and Saved By The Bell.

Zack and Sam Powers were the only 2 to appear in all 3 series (Good Morning Miss Bliss, Saved By The Bell and Saved By The Bell - The College Years) for all episodes

Saved By The Bell - Hawaiian Style and Saved By The Bell II - Wedding In Las Vegas were split into 4 parts of 30 minutes each in Syndication.

Both movies are seen uncut on Shout Factory DVD and also streamed on Tubi in this manner.

Shout Factory has placed the 6 part Malibu Sands arc at the end of Series III for their DVD set.

The Good Morning Miss Bliss 13 part series had recently been added to Saved By The Bell and were retitled Saved By The Bell for Syndication. Also include was Saved By The Bell - The College Years. Saved By The Bell - The College Years when aired in Syndication is considered Series VI.

This could explain why Shout Factory has included Good Morning Miss Bliss and Saved By The Bell - The College Years as part of the complete collection.
