The main point of SKC is to make the figures as suit accurate as possible. Whereas SHF tends to be more sculpted as if the suit itself is the character's' skin, SKC very much tries to look like "dude in costume" if that makes any sense.
Also, while not always true, SKC does tend to be alot better than standard SHFs, especially in regards to detailing. That said, they have become very expensive over the years, so whether or not the added aesthetic and (sometimes) articulation is worth it is up to your own wallet. ... Also, Nox looks pretty good. I'll definitely try to get him eventually, though being a Tamashi Web thing it probably won't be for a while. It's a shame pretty much nothing besides the main Rider's base form makes it to general retail these days. |

That being said, the recent releases such as Gavv and Bitter Gavv saw more prominent details of suit wrinkle sculpted throughout the body, which resemble a Toku suit, rather than a character in that fiction setting. Quote:
If there's a new release announced, you better prepare to get one on the release days, or within the order period. Most of the aftermarket price of SKC are usually with high marked up. Of course, not all SKC are highly desired, depend on regions and such. Gaim for example in my place is not very well received, another example is Gavv or Ohger. Ryuki's stuf is however, sold out instantly the very moment the listing went on pre-order. If you're going to buy a release that's went past the release period. Depend on your wallet, and what kind condition you want, the costs are varied. It is also needed to note that if you're ever buying a second hand, do pay attention to the paint, as paint damage could occur if the previous owner accidentally or just carelessly collide two painted parts together.
