			What's interesting to me about the design style of Pacific Rim is that the meka look like a mix of a Super Robot style machine, but built like a Real Robot.  The rocket punch is a classic Super Robot move, but the way that they are "landed" and the pilots "walk" them makes me think Real Robot.   That, and the kaiju we have seen resemble the Terrasaurs from Monsterpocalypse! The one with the big chin really reminds me of Terra Khan from that game. (This is not a complaint).
