20th Anniversary Reunion

Rather than a movie or DVD special, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon would instead get a round table meetup with the five main actresses in 2023, wherein the lovely ladies discuss... whatever comes to their mind, really.

And while I could see some fans being disappointed in getting a "lesser" piece of content in comparison to the sorts of anniversary projects that other toku sometimes get, I actually rather liked the angle being played at here. Because it really does tie into a major part of PGSM as a whole.

It was so nice to learn how these five have remained friends who keep active contact even all these years later, in spite, or maybe even in part because of, all the things that life has thrown at them over time. It stands as an example of how close friendships are possible to not only make, but maintain, even in your adult years. Especially thanks to technology nowadays.

And really, that's what this is at the end of the day: A nice, casual conversation between good friends. So if you're in the mood for listening in on one of those, it certainly does make for a nice video podcast.
