Okay, this had been bugging me for a while. I have noticed that whenever people talk about Shinkenger and how great it was they leave out Dayu which in my honest opinion was one of the deepest character as well as the best part about the PR version Power Ranger Samurai. So please, if there are any other Dayu fans out there let me know and let your voices be heard. I mean seriously, hasn't she gone through enough?... TWICE! Oh, and if you don't remember what she looks like, here's a picture for reference. |

I think I'm too early in Shinkenger to know what you're talking about, sorry.

I found the Shinkenger and Samurai versions to be balanced (though I prefer the former).

What I like about Dayu is her design. And her backstory is quite dark and sad at the same time.

Dayu was the person in Samurai who whined, but had a legitimate reason to whine. I liked her backstory because.. I liked her backstory in Shinkenger. It was the same thing. But I'll go with she does need a four inch figure. |

She pretty good. Not amazing by any stretch, but one of the few villains in Shinkenger than had a decent personality/backstory.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by just how much of her backstory, and story in general, made it through to Samurai. I was sure they'd try and clean some of it.
