While I'm still hoping we get to watch Gekiranger, I think Black would be an interesting choice too. I had a friend years ago who kept raving about the awesomeness of Black, and he's also the coolest-looking Showa Rider, in my opinion.

Can't wait for this to get started!

I'm probably gonna give Hikari Senshi's subs a try (Since I used TV-N's Geki subs last time), and if I don't find them to my liking, I'll probably just switch back to TV-N.

I downloaded the TV-N version of Geki yesterday, so I'll be going with that version.

For anyone trying these subs out, keep in mind that Hikari Senshi's files includes two sets of subs. The default (at least on mine) translates everything down to the word "Geki" as "Wild" and "Rio" as "Leo." The other subs included leaves those things alone.

I find HS' second set of subs to be the best option for me as it still translates Jan's Tarzan-ish talk to an English equivalent, but leaves the proper names alone.

Hmm, I wonder... maybe we should not do a vote next time and "lock in" Kamen Rider Black as the series to watch after Gekiranger -- assuming that they finish 1-2 as they are currently placed.

We'll probably put it to a vote each time. Just so everything has a chance. But its clear the community has several top choices, other than Gekiranger in mind. So we will take that into account.
