Freaking Ghasts... I don't remember them ever being this bad on PC. It's like the game insists three must be on screen at all times and attacking you always. That second part's faithful and is something I've always hated, but seriously there's just soooo many.

There's a reason getting a blaze rod is an achievement.

They're the entire reason I wanted to find my fortress of course, and there just happened to be a spawner right at the entrance... which is why I haven't explored too far. Got 4. Which was enough at least to FINALLY get a brewing stand. Now if only I could find a zombie villager now that I'm actually ready to cure one... They were bloody everywhere before, but naturally aren't now. :P

Now do I fire up the creative copy and cheat to find my stronghold or actually try to keep farming Blazes and Endermen to hope to maybe get enough to find my way there legit and have enough leftover to fire up the portal....

I made my first thing and I wish I could share it. I made a giant Knight Steve from the first Beasts pack. Made it out of wool and added a few 3d details to set it apart including a shield on his back. Next I want to try making an in-scale Enderman.

I just bought Minecraft on PS3/Vita! It's good so far, I'm in survival mode, just crafting early materials and oogling over the cool stuff I can get later on. Portable minecraft that's not annoying because of smartphones is really cool.

And if you're asking, my laptop can't run games for shit, so no superior PC version for me.
