I assume the show itself won't be a remake of Gavan but a new Space Sheriff for the Reiwa era, with a possible summer movie where the hero's seniors make guest appearances. That said, maybe it could be a totally new design that pays tribute to the OG Three Space Sheriffs here and there on the suit.

Keep in mind that Toei also folded Metal Heroes into the Super Sentai side of things pretty prominently for a few years after Gavan vs Gokaiger to the point where they were clearly setting up for a cross-franchise series with Space Squad.

Universe Heroes could still circle back around to that idea wholesale if they're planning to revive Gavan again.

The article also mentions that Toei might still be shopping around a home for Sentai, either through a streaming service or another station. Either way, as stated before, TV Asahi is definitively out.

I hope it's the latter. I need more Space Squad in my life! Feels like we've been stuck on that post-credits Winspector teaser for like almost a decade now. I wonder if we'll get a new Sharivan as well, since Miura retired.
