You Only Live Twice - Another great Bond movie that also features two actresses from a few Godzilla movies. I love Donald Pleasance as Blofeld even though he really didn't do much here. On the other hand, I never thought about this movie being racist in the slightest until two of my friends said as such. Either I just don't care enough or they are way too sensitive, but whatever. I give it a 7/10 stars.
Ebirah Horror of the Deep - Finally watched this BD and wow, the video quality was amazing. Too bad they can not fix the hissing sound in the audio whenever the Fairy twins sing though. Anyway, I'll give more in my review, which I hope to have up by the middle of the week. |

The Wolf of Wall Street
I really enjoyed this movie alot. The three hour run time went by so incredibly fast and I never got bored at any point in this movie. Dicaprios performance was absolutely breathtaking and engaging to watch. What I really loved about this movie is that it never judges the actions of Jordan Belfort. It just presents the story as is but leaves it to the viewer to decide what to make of it. |

Wow, there was nothing like finally getting to see the original Transformers movie from 1986 in theaters for the first time. The Alamo Drafthouse had an excellent 35mm print of it and it looked fantastic. Easily one of the best movies based on a cartoon series ever. 8/10.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service - This movie is just awesome. It has great pacing, tries to add some new ideas to the formula, and it has amazing set pieces and action scenes. Not to mention the powerful tragic ending. The only downside is that Lazenby tries to just copy Connery's performance as Bond instead of trying to put his own persona into the character. I give it a wonderful 9/10. Last edited by Dr Kain; 03-14-2015 at 11:23 PM.. |

Two of our friends have never seen anything before Brosnan. As such, we are watching a Bond movie every other week (unless we need to play catch up) when they are over to prepare them for Spectre in Nov. One of them has been enjoying them, another has been wondering how Bond even made it out of the 60s.

Diamonds are Forever - By far Connery's weakest movie with some of the worst action scenes in the franchise this far. Its saving graces are Wint and Kidd and the fact that it completes the Blofeld storyline. For that alone, I give it a 6.5/10.

Same here, as a distraction after my exams. I loved The Spy Who Loved Me and Tomorrow Never Dies- those were probably my favourites, along with Casino Royale.
