I'm thinking the most likely candidates are Ryuu or Centaurus, but I'm kinda hoping they'll double down and give us a two-hero combination a la the Go-On Wings with Ya & Ite (Arrow & Archer) or two heroes jointly representing Futago/Gemini.

Sorry but the English translation for Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger is SPACE SQUADRON NINE RANGER! It just doesn't work if your show is called NINE RANGER! Unless they do a Ninjaman/Signalman-type hero.

And? Just because the shows title implies the number 9 does NOT mean it's strictly limited to such numbers.

Well, the last time they explicitly had a number as part of the title, they stuck to it.

Heck, I think they've done that for every series with a number in the title. Goranger, Fiveman and GoGoV. Now, correct me if I missed something.
